My name is Alexander Lindsay, I live in England, and I make beautiful and intricate wooden objects, decorated with marquetry, that is, inlaid patterns using wood veneers. I mainly make boxes, but can equally well produce other decorated wooden objects. They have been particularly appreciated as presents to celebrate major events, such as marriages, christenings, birthdays, and anniversaries.

This site shows just a few examples of what I can do. I have been developing this business for several years, since I retired. I exhibited in Cork Street, London in October 2004, and at Henley Royal Regatta in July 2007. I now work almost entirely on orders commissioned by clients, but I have a few ready-made pieces for sale
