Architecture

This is a portrait of a Nineteenth Century country house. It is one of the largest pieces I  have done.  The box is 39 by 24 cms, and the picture contains about 1700 pieces of wood, including about 250 window panes, each of which is octagonal.  The grey stonework is grey harewood (oxidised sycamore)  and the paler stonework is sycamore.  The background is imboia.
