This is based on the cloisters of the Palazzo Ducale in Gubbio, Umbria.  The cloisters are turned inside out, to cover the outside of the box. The whole box is approximately a 17.5 cm cube.  The main woods used are grey harewood, pear, sycamore and mahogany.  The roof, which is the lid, is tiled in mahogany.
