This is a red brick Elizabethan manor house. The irregularities are deliberate and copied from the real building. The design is on the front of a piece of desk furniture. The picture of the house is about 25 by 10 cms. The box is mainly walnut, the brickwork is done in mahogany, the bargeboards in pear, the sky maple, the pigeons in sycamore and the details in a variety of woods."
